He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Tigner and Rose Marie Davis. He is survived by: his siblings, Edward "Moose" Davis of Bath, Fredrick "Fred" Tigner of Hornell and Bernice Tigner of Hornell. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.

James' family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name be made to Catholic Charities, 23 Liberty St., Bath, NY 14810.
