She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Maude Besse and Claude Hurd of Hornell, N. Y; her husband Donald E. Murphy Sr.; her son Donald Murphy Jr. (Sharon) of Dansville, N. Y.; her grandchildren, Jeffery Murphy (Carolyn) of Pennsylvania and Stephanie Murphy of Indiana; and her daughter Karen (Lawrence Kovach) of South Carolina. She was also cherished by four great grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
