He was predeceased by: his parent Ignatius Mattie; and his sisters, Mary Louise Mattie, Patricia Mattie and Veronica Casaceli. He is survived by: his parent Mary Mattie (Venuto); his children, Michael "Mickey" Mattie (Karen) of Fairport, Philip Mattie of Arkport, Regina Moores (Steve) of Hornell, Lynnda Shugars (Terry) of Albany, Richard Mattie (Barb) of Ypsilanti, David Mattie of Hornell and Stacia Schieder; his brother-in-law Guy Casaceli of Avon; and his significant other Ruth Crittenden of Hornell.
