It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harriet Jay (Hornell, New York), born in Almond, New York, who passed away on December 1, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Ide and Viola Ide (Van Orman); her former husbands, Michael Daniels and Bobbie G. Jay; her siblings, John Ide, Shirley Sisson, Phyllis Drake and Janice "Patty" Fairchild; her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Ide and Vicky Ide; her son-in-law John Fairbrother; her grandson John Lawrence; her great grandchild Leah Edlind; and her niece Aimee Ide.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Fairbrother (Bob Northrup) of Prattsburgh, Karen Porter (David) of Almond and Jody Andrus (Robert) of Canisteo; her brother Bill Ide of Canisteo; and her brother-in-law Ray Sisson of Batavia. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
