He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Smith and Margaret Smith (Wallace); and his siblings, Charles Smith (Ann), James Smith (Donna) and Helen Ann O'Rourke (Ronald).
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Oxx; his children, Daniel Smith (Sharon) of Arkport, Kevin Smith (Debbie) of Hornell and Kathleen Lynn of Rochester; his brother Paul Smith (Mary Jo) of Elizabethtown, PA; and his grandchildren, Ryan Smith (Danielle), Aryn Bailey (Mark), Lauryn Smith (Tyler Crouch), Jessica White (Devin), Shawn Smith (Bobbie), Colleen Smith, Leigha Smith (Rob Eisenhardt) and Christopher Lynn. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
