With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Alan George (Hornell, New York), born in Canandaigua, New York, who passed away on March 16, 2022 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Warren George; and his brothers, Jeff George and Rob George. He is survived by: his mother Melva George (Ridall) of South Dansville; his former wife Mary George of Hornell; his daughters, Megan George (Brian Doty) of Hornell and Laura George (Eric Kepner) of Hornell; his siblings, Dale George (Sheila) of Dansville and Lori Herring (Steve) of South Dansville; and his grandchildren, Lexine O'Brien, Daxton O'Brien, Norma Jean Wachter, Aubrey Kepner, Liam Kepner, Rebel Kepner and Emery Kepner. He is also survived by one granddaughter "On The Way"; several nieces & nephews.
Doug's family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name be made to the Hornell Humane Society, 7649 Industrial Park Road, Hornell, NY 14843.
