He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Louis and Hilda Kromer McManus; his former wife Betty Askins McManus; his wife Dena Pelton McManus; and his siblings, Sandra O'Heron and David McManus.

He is survived by: his children, Donna Woolever (David) of Hornell, William McManus (Kathy) of Baldwinsville, Stephen E. McManus of Hornell and Timothy McManus (Anna Marie) of Hornell; and his brother Daniel McManus (Kathy) of Hornell. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
