He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Groves and Minzie Groves (Stage); his sisters, Mabel Ellen Groves, Nancy Fisk, Sandy Rinaldi, Trudy Snyder and Rosemary Hadsell; his brothers-in-law, Wayne, Rinaldi, David Stiles, Les Mead and Clint Hadsell; and his nieces, Tonya Mead (Heather Rivera) and Margaret Jackson.
He is survived by: his wife Anna M. Jackson; his children, Nikki Kennell (Steve) of Greenwood, Michael Groves of Rexville and Joshua Groves of Rexville; his stepson Ricky Masterson (Kristina) of Canisteo; his grandchildren, Matthew Kennell, Kiley Walsh Kennell, Carissa Masterson, Alyssa Masterson, Lilly Masterson and Price Masterson; and his siblings, Betty Stiles of Hornell, Candy Mead of Hornell, Theresa Crews of Texas, Steve Groves (Sue) of Hornell, John Groves (Kathie) of Almond, Richard Fisk (Lori) of Hornell, Rick Groves (Shirley) of Cameron and Jay Ebner (Lisa) of Canisteo. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
