She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Chittenden and Dorothy Chittenden (Mattern); her husband Jack; her siblings, Kathryn Whittaker, George and Gary Chittenden; her grandson Brian Shepard; her great grandchild Riley Bentley; and her son-in-law Terry Brookins.

She is survived by: her children, Deborah Hunt (Thomas) of Arkport, NY, Cheryl Shepard of Hornell, NY, Stephen Shepard (Merry) of Oak Harbor, WA, Patricia Dennis (Patrick) of Cape Coral, FL and Tammy Brookins of Hornell; and her grandchildren, Caroline Booth (Eric), Jillian Dullen (Rodney), Nicole Feeley (Patrick), Niccole Shepard (Justin Beutel), Elizabeth Shepard, Christopher Shepard, John Rosemier (Stephanie), Daniel Rosemier (Tabitha), Cassie Feenaughty (Ben) and Ryne Hunt. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, 2 step great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
