He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell Fitzsimmons and Marion Fitzsimmons (Fleming); his grandmother Olive Fleming; and his brother Jim Calkins. He is survived by: his wife Christine; his children, Alan Fitzsimmons (Brooke) of Batavia, Emily Fitzsimmons of Batavia, Darren Stanford (Brittany) of Perry and Molly Wilkinson of Hornell; his grandchildren, Paisley Stanford and Aurora Raine Kenyon; and his pets, Oli and Gabriel.
