He was predeceased by: his parents, William Pitts and Lucia Pitts (D'Aprile); and his brother Raymond Pitts. He is survived by: his children, David (Kelly Pitts) and Marcie (Stephen Karas); his grandchildren, Alexander, Lillian Pitts, Ellie and Peter Karas; and his siblings, Lucia Marie O'Hara and Richard Pitts. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made in his honor to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
