Virginia Sykes Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Sykes of Hopewell Junction, New York, who passed away on September 28, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Horn and Edith Van Horn of Rochester, NY; and her husband Richard Sykes of St. Paul, MN.. She is survived by: her children, Andrew Sykes (Shelley) of Vermillion, SD and Caroline Sykes-Lorenz (Gregory Lorenz) of Hopewell Junction, NY; her granddaughters, Rali Sykes, Elizabeth Sykes and Dorothy Lorenz; and her siblings, Peter Van Horn (Ann) and Sarah Van Horn. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to League of Women Voters of Roseville Area in Minnesota, or Hudson Valley Hospice in Poughkeepsie, NY.
