With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vincent E. Hynes (Hopewell Junction, New York), born in Poughkeepsie, New York, who passed away on February 23, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent J. Hynes and Constance Hynes (Crutchfield); his sister Nancy Briggs; and his stepmother Cora Tobin Hynes The. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Brownell; his children, Suzann Peterson (Bruce), Wendy Travis (Howard) and Darrell Hynes (Denise Kearsing); his grandchildren, Christopher (Melissa Lombardi), Stefanie Lombardi, Vincent John (Samantha Hynes) and Raymond Darrell (Kathleen Hynes); his great grandchildren, Madison, Logan, Lily, Peyton, Eli, Otto and Cole; his siblings, Carol (Jim Robin), Bruce (Shelly Copland) and Jeanette Sasser; and his sisters-in-law, Sandra Prosser, Beverly Baright and Katherine Brownell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
