He was predeceased by: his parents, Hans Steffensen and Leonore Steffensen; and his brother Stevie Steffensen. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his brother Sterling Steffensen of Florence; his children, Erich Steffensen (Kara) and Ingrid Steffensen Bialy; his grandsons, Ethan, Zane and Griffin Bialy; and his niece Steffenie Steffensen of Little Falls.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Tymor Park Hall (8 Tymor Park Rd, Lagrangeville, NY 12540).
