He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Byron and Marion Hodgeman (Peck); and his siblings, Herbert Hodgeman, Martin Hodgeman, Melissa Boyce, Ramona Rutherford-Jones, Jathniel Hodgeman, David Hodgeman and Byron Hodgeman, Jr..

He is survived by: his wife June Hodgeman (McDonald); his daughters, Sherri Hodgeman of Virginia and Debbi Brogan of Yorktown; his grandchildren, Jason, Candice and Brandi; his great grandchildren, Hannah, Jayden and Cassandra; and his sister Priscilla Hodgeman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
