It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Rogers (Hopewell Junction, New York), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on July 13, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Karol J. Bogdanowicz and Genevieve Bogdanowicz (Klimkowski); her husband Joseph T. Rogers, Sr.; her son Matthew Paul; and her brothers, Richard and Charles Bogdanowicz.

She is survived by: her son Joseph Rogers, Jr. of LaGrange; her daughter-in-law Sabrina Marie of Poughkeepsie; her grandchildren, Lucas Matthew and Logan Alexander; her sister Barbara A. Fischer (Gary W.); and her godchildren, Carol Verdis, John Avery and Eleanor Schultz. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
