He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lotze and Hilda Lotze (Schraut). He is survived by: his children, Richard J. Lotze of Denver, CO, Robin, Kevin Frohlich of Redding, CA, William and Karyn Lotze of Schenectady, NY; and his grandchildren, Joel, Shannon and Gabriel Frohlich. He is also survived by several cousins and many friends.

Memorial donations may be made to the Hopewell Reformed Church or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
