He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lacerra and Vivian Lacerra (Conti); and his siblings, Carmine, Joann, Roseanne, Phyllis and George.

He is survived by: his wife Ilene Appel; his children, Billy (Rose), Denise (Edward), Robert (Julie), Brenda (Richie) and Lisa (Mike); his grandchildren, Ashley, Austin, Arianna, Alessandra, Billy, Riley, Brielle, Bentley, Bradley, Theodore and Brody; and his brother Joseph Lacerra. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
