Though Nelly may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Nelly touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Cadena and Sofia Cadena; and her husband Robert Yandraside. She is survived by: her son Robert (Nancy); and her sisters, Ketty, Haydee and Francia. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc. (895 NY-82, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Columba Church (835 NY-82, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533). A burial will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St. Denis Cemetery (604 Beekman Rd, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533).
