It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred R. Davis (Hopewell Junction, New York), born in Poughkeepsie, New York, who passed away on September 5, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Baker and Linda Baker (Ellison); and her siblings, Homer "Pokey" Baker, Bobby Baker and Jackie Verdon.

She is survived by: her husband Edward R. Davis; her children, Denise Davis Kraus (Bobby) and Brent Davis (Kelly); her grandchildren, Riley, Luke, Brett and Ryan; her sisters, Linda Verdon and Wanda Gee (Keith); and her siblings-in-law, Cheryl Kroll (Richard), Lisa Davis, Debbie Davis and Ronnie "Skip" Davis (Rania). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Since Mildred loved all animals, donations may be made in her memory to the Dutchess County SPCA.
