He was predeceased by: his parents, Eunice Gardner (Duclos) and Melvin W. Gardner, Jr.; and his stepfather Raymond Ward. He is survived by: his wife Adela Gardner (Hoenig) of Hopewell Junction, NY; his children, Michael Gardner (Heather) of Greene, NY, Steven Conklin (Maria) of Georgia and Lauren Turner (Kevin) of Hopewell Junction, NY; his grandchildren, Meah Turner, Joshua Conklin, Karly Turner, Mason Gardner, Ethan Gardner and Reagan Conklin; and his siblings, Alan Gardner (Darlene) and Donna Breault (John). He is also survived by several in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
