The memory of Lorraine Mary Travia (Hopewell Junction, New York), who passed away on April 20, 2025 at the age of 80, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Sachar and Casimira Sachar (Piekarski); her husband Robert F. Travia; and her brothers, Thomas and Vincent Sachar.
She is survived by: her children, Jeannine Fountain (Brian), Elizabeth Gannon, Rachel Goione (John) and Robert Travia Jr. (Leslie); her grandchildren, Lauren, Travis, Hunter, Paige, Shane, Anna, Carter, Kevin and Katie; and her sister Phyllis Telfer. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc. ~ Van Wyck Room (895 NY-82, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Kateri Tekakwitha Church (1925 NY-82, Lagrangeville, NY 12540). A burial will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the St. Denis Cemetery (604 Beekman Rd, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Kateri Tekakwitha Church.
