He was predeceased by: his father Pedro Lopez. He is survived by: his wife Liza Lopez (Kelm); his children, Ashley Meyer, Nicholas Lopez and Joseph Lopez, Jr.; his grandchildren, Jordan and Arianna; his mother Eladia Mercedes Taveras; his parents-in-law, Helmut Kelm and Ursula Merolla; and his pets, Cora and Raven. He is also survived by many siblings and nieces.
