In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Joseph had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Joseph may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lane and Loretta Lane (Ford); and his brothers, Terrence Paul Lane and James "Randy" Lane. He is survived by: his nephew Jamie Lane (Michele Aubrey); his great-niece Emma Jean Lane; and his sister-in-law Elizabeth Lane. He is also survived by cousins in Newfoundland; and many friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc. (895 NY-82, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533).
