He was predeceased by: his son George J. DeMasi; and his father George DeMasi. He is survived by: his son Owen DeMasi; his mother Veronica DeMasi (Stanley); and his brothers, Paul DeMasi (Doreen), Mark DeMasi (Sanae) and Steven DeMasi (Michael Hilderbrand). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
