With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jose Miguel Carchi Cardenas (Hopewell Junction, New York), who passed away on February 1, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesus Carchi and Rosario Carchi (Cardenas). He is survived by: his wife Maria Guadalupe Ochoa; his children, Ninfa Encalada (Rene) of Pleasant Valley, Raul Carchi of Pleasant Valley and Marco Carchi (Idania Ojeda) of Lake Peekskill; his grandchildren, Joselyne Encalada, Devin Encalada, Justin Encalada, Jaylene Encalada, Michelle Carchi, Nicholas Carchi, Arianna Carchi, Joseph Carchi and Karla Carchi; and his great grandchildren, Adrian Chavez and Emilio Chavez.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc. (895 NY-82, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location.
