It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jose Andre of Hopewell Junction, New York, who passed away on December 28, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Andre and Delfina (Augusta) of Melo; and his brother David Melo. He is survived by: his spouse Elza of Melo; his sons, Joseph DeMelo of Hopewell Junction, Robert DeMelo (Maria) of Hopewell Junction and John (Nikki) of Melo; his grandchildren, Vovô, Gabriella, Delphina, Andrew, Sophia, Amelia, Eliana and Ada; his sister Judite Ramos (Nelson) of Mechanicsville, VA; and his sister-in-law Maria Melo. He is also survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
