He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. McCarney, Sr. and Mary McCarney (Jacobs). He is survived by: his parent-in-law Jackie Luzzi; his wife Jackie; his children, Lisa (Randy Prentiss) of Staatsburg, NY, Phillip Grandinetti of Poughkeepsie, NY and Paul McCarney (Lea Dubois); his stepchildren, Stephanie Luzzi (Dan Kleiner) and John Luzzi, Jr. (Ricky) of Arlington, TX.; his grandchildren, Phillip Grandinetti of Poughkeepsie, NY, Wydea Merchant (Scott) of Charlotte, NC, Benjamin Prentiss of Brooklyn, NY, Samuel Prentiss of Staatsburg, NY and Isaac McCarney Dubois; his great grandchild Phillip Grandinetti of Poughkeepsie, NY.; his siblings, Nancy McCarney of Rhinebeck, NY and Larry McCarney (Jeanette) of Little River, SC.; his siblings-in-law, Diane (Tony Candullo) of South Salem, NY, Denise Artuso of Yonkers, NY and Robert Artuso (Kathy) of Thornwood, NY.; his aunt Leona Hubley of York, PA.; and his pets, Beverly and Violet. He is also survived by niece and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins.
