It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John R. Mascia (Hopewell Junction, New York), who passed away on November 7, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John R. Mascia to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Mascia and Angelina Mascia (Cignarella). He is survived by: his wife Joyce Mascia (Barbetto); his children, John Mascia (Michelle) of Hopewell Junction, NY and Melissa Mascia (Joseph Alongi) of Greenwich, CT; his grandchildren, Alexandra, Johnny, Anthony, Brooke and Robert; his sisters, Sue D'Iorio, Maryann Donohue and Lori Viviano (Joe); and his sisters-in-law, Cahterine Guigliano and Elise Quattrucci (Jerry). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St. Columba Church (835 NY-82, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533). An entombment was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at the Ferncliff Cemetery.
