He is survived by: his wife Gul; his children, Xerxes (Jerilyn Sarkary) of Austin, TX and Zubin (Chetna) of San Jose, CA; his grandchildren, Darius Sarkary of Seattle, WA, Cyrus Sarkary of Austin, TX and Karina Sarkary of San Jose, CA; and his sister Farida Khambatta (Sarosh) of Orland Park, IL..
