He was predeceased by: his parents, Erich Wegner and Klara Wegner (Thieme). He is survived by: his significant other Edeltraut Wolf; his children, Erika Carlino, Ralph Wegner (Susan) and Ronald Wegner; his sister Elke Mitchell; his grandchildren, Michelle, Wendy, Emelia, Deanna, Robert, Keith, Alexandria, Derrick and Erich; and his great grandchild Hannah.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc. ~ Van Wyck Room (895 NY-82, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
