It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Murr (Hopewell Junction, New York), who passed away on March 19, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Murr and Leona Murr Mertz (Mumau); his wife Jane Ann Hyatt; his daughter Eileen Murr Farley; and his brother John Murr.
He is survived by: his children, Edward Murr and Catherine Petipas (Keith); his grandchildren, Lily Murr, Chadwick Petipas, Blake Petipas, Victoria Colombo, Deanna Farley and Kessondra Farley; and his great grandchildren, Mason, Chloe, Dominic, Giovanni and Milanie.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
