It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Frederick Schmid of Hopewell Junction, New York, born in Manhattan, New York, who passed away on March 22, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Schmid and Lina Schmid (Conradt); his wife Anneliese Metzger; his children, Peter (Annette Schmid), Steven (Susan Schmid) and Susan (Nelson Nieves); and his grandchildren, Eric, Maria, Jason, Tori, Stefanie, George, Jeremy, Allison, Jesse, Jessica, Jennifer, Matt, David, Kaitlyn, Joshua, Sarah, Laura and Richard. He was also cherished by his 11 great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made in Frederick's name to Hopewell Reformed Church.
