She was predeceased by: her husband John "Jack" Laux; her parents, Philip Prestigiacomo and Anna Prestigiacomo (Traola); and her son John "Jackie" Laux. She is survived by: her son William Laux (Kirsten) of Fishkill, NY; her grandsons, Aiden and Christopher Laux; her sister Marie Skelly; her brother-in-law Gerard "Chippy"; her nephew Gerard Skelly (Joy); her niece Ann Marie Casey (Eddie); and her great-nieces, JoanMarie and Anna. She is also survived by her two sons and later a doting grandmother.

In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice in Ellie's memory are appreciated.
