It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Jean Gardner (Hopewell Junction, New York), born in Poughkeepsie, New York, who passed away on October 6, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William VanVoorhis and Daisy VanVoorhis (Porter); her former husband Clayton "Bud" Gardner; her son Kevin; her granddaughter Haleigh; and her siblings, Rosemary Hill (Lonnie) and William VanVoorhis, Jr..

She is survived by: her daughters, Kelly Panzanaro and Karen Gardner Salvatore (Michael); and her grandson Joshua. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to Hudson Valley Hospice Foundation.
