He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Pastir and Anna Pastir (Vancas); his wife Marcia Kiraly; and his brothers, Michael and Donald Pastir.
He is survived by: his daughter Denise Marinaccio (Michael); his grandchildren, Brett and Breanna Marinaccio; his great grandchildren, Ava and Aidan Marinaccio; and his sister Irene Hazy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
