He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sobenko and Justyna Sobenko (Orlowska). He is survived by: his wife Mary "Margie" Phillips; his children, Stephen (Katherine Sobenko), Jessica (Azim Abdabhai) and Adam (Amber Sobenko); and his grandchildren, Deckard, Emily, Theodore and Henry. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Team Gleason, Hospice of the Hudson Valley or St. Columba Church.
