With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cleon Josiah Sawyer of Hopewell Junction, New York, born in Yonkers, New York, who passed away on November 28, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Sawyer and Bridget Sawyer (Tobin); his wife Marjorie C. Sawyer (Coons); his daughter Dianne Irving; and his granddaughters, Ellie and Emma Fears.
He is survived by: his son Gary Sawyer (Frieda) of Myrtle Beach, SC; his son-in-law Chuck Irving; his grandchildren, Kelly, Nathan Fears of Clover, SC, Amanda and Jeremy Carlin of Myrtle Beach, SC; and his great grandchildren, Oliver and Eva Lynne Fears. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
