Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Christine Abdo (Hopewell Junction, New York), born in Yonkers, New York, who passed away at the age of 75, on October 8, 2023. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Vanderwerff and Catherine Vanderwerff (Williams); and her sisters, Lynne Perzel and Patricia Walsh. She is survived by: her husband John Abdo; her children, Jennifer Abdo-Dileo (Christopher), Holley Abdo (Joseph Suarez) and Elizabeth Califano; her grandchildren, Jonah, John Robert, Charlotte and Nicholas; and her siblings, Tony Vanderwerff (Maryann), Kathleen Dechent and Jimmy Vanderwerff.
Donations may be made in Christine's memory to the Susan G. Komen Foundation in hopes to help others fight this horrible battle.
