He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Broad and Janet Broad (Robinson). He is survived by: his wife Margaret (Episcopia); his children, Kaylee, Christopher and David; his grandsons, Carson and Oliver; his siblings, Matthew, John and Lena; and his mother-in-law Katherine Cocozza. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dutchess County SPCA.
