With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert J. Downing of Hoosick Falls, New York, born in Bennington, Vermont, who passed away on February 23, 2023 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis H. Downing and Nina Downing (Gates). He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Downing (Lamson); his children, Joshua Downing of Dallas, TX, Nicholas Downing of Bennington, VT, Autumn Tucker of Granville, NY and Amie Thompson of Alabama; and his brother Frank Downing (Diane) of Hoosick Falls, NY. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, three nephews, and a great grandchild.
