He is survived by: his wife Laurie Gates (Mattat); his siblings, Allan (Belinda Gates) and Joann (Daniel Thompson); his children, Crissy Loftus (Keith Sulivan) and Jay Loftus (Melissa Cummings) of Bennington, VT; his stepchildren, Scott, Shawn, Sheldon, Tonya and Kayla; and his grandson Kenny. He is also survived by many cousins, nephews, nieces, step-grandchildren, great nieces and nephews.
