We bid farewell to Katherine Ann Grogan of Hoosick Falls, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 8, 2024 at the age of 33. Katherine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She is survived by: her daughter Evelyn Rayne Valla; her parents, Jacqueline A. Reyman of Hoosick Falls, NY and William J. Grogan, Jr. (Erin) of Pittstown, NY; her siblings, Deanna O'Hare (Dan), April Allen, Jennifer Ortiz (Jaime), Elizabeth Grogan, William J. Grogan III (Mackenzie), Katharine Grogan, Thomas Grogan and Nicholas Grogan; her aunts and uncles, Rufina Reyman, Jeffrey May, Patricia, Scott Pearson, Dorothy Marcoux and James Harwood; and also, Christopher and Harriet Valla. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Mahar Funeral Home (43 Main St, Hoosick Falls, NY 12090). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
Contributions to the Evelyn Rayne Valla Scholarship Fund can be made directly through Mahar Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, anyone who wishes to honor Katie may make a contribution for her daughter, Evelyn Rayne Valla, to assist with her education and future needs.
