John M. Riley Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John M. Riley (Hoosick Falls, New York), born in Bennington, Vermont, who passed away on December 29, 2022 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John H. Riley and Ruth Lavin Riley; his uncle Bob; his siblings, Kathy Riley of Bennington, VT, Tom Riley (Kristee Iacobucci) of Groveside, NY and Trish Bossong of Bennington, VT; his cousins, Barb Gifford of Groveside, NY, Mary Jane Eddy and Bobby Ellis; his children, Meghann and Patrick; his spouse Stephen Rose; and his grandchildren, Evelyn, Gavin and Augustus (Gus). He was also cherished by The cousins were more like siblings than cousins.
The Jack Riley Memorial Fund is being established at FLCC to support the purchase of equipment for the lab at the Victor Campus where he was a professor for the past six plus years.
