She was predeceased by: her husband Pedro L. Acevedo Sr.; her parents, Leroy Hunt and Muriel Hunt (Barnhardt); and her siblings, Marjorie Karrem, Helen Murry, Ozella Chaplin, Leroy, Nicholas, Joseph and Robert Hunt.
She is survived by: her son Pedro L. Acevedo Jr. (Darlene); her grandchildren, Cielo Cross (Kenneth II) and Alicia Acevedo; her great grandchildren, Anthony Amidon, Riley-Drew Cross and Avianna Cross; and her siblings, Kathleen Kyea (Edward), Jim Hunt (Linda) and Martin Hunt (Shirley). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
