She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Martelle; her parents, Luigi Grosso and Filomena Grosso; and her siblings, Teresa Stumbo and Anthony Grosso.
She is survived by: her children, Caroline Timmerman (late Peter), Joseph Martelle (Nancy) of Hoosick Falls and Ann Marie Pro (Eugene) of Latham, NY; and her siblings, Josephine Martorello, Carmelina Marino and Francesco Grosso of Italy. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Immaculate Conception Church through the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street, Hoosick Falls, NY, who are handling the arrangements.
