She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence McCauley and Etta McCauley (Robbins). She is survived by: her husband Richard Shaffer; her children, Linda Lewandowski (Ed) of Ballston Spa, Lawrence Shaffer (Colleen) of Oxford, MS and Laurie Kennedy of Stillwater; her siblings, Lawrence McCauley (Kay) of Salem, Doug McCauley of Arlington and Pam McCauley of Shushan; and her grandchildren, Deanna Ritzenberg (Dan), Brendan Kennedy and Perry Kennedy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
