He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerard Pero and Mary Lou Pero; and his sister Loretta Weeks (Pero). He is survived by: his wife Deborah "Debber" Pero (Orbanac); his daughter Jennifer Pero-Lewis (Frank Waltman); his grandchildren, Gabriel Lewis, Noelle Lewis, Garett Waltman and Carly Waltman; his sister Anne Pero; his niece Devon Cozad; his nephew Brandon Ralph (Liz); and his godson Ryan Drake.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home (8624 Main St, Honeoye, NY 14471). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Marys Catholic Church (8961 Main St, Honeoye, NY 14471).
