He is survived by: his wife Patricia Herrington (Tompkins); his children, Morgan Herrington and Devin Herrington; his mother Patricia Herrington; his sisters, Maureen Herrington, Bonnie Sue Herrington (Douglas) and Janice Sullivan (James); and his brothers-in-law, Timothy Tompkins (Angela) and John Tompkins (Toni).
