She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Tripp and Rosie Tripp (Rotunda); and her cousin Jane Rotunda O'Toole. She is survived by: her husband Michael J. VanAalst; her children, Michael C. VanAalst and Julieanne T. VanAalst; her grandson Michael D. Dobson; her siblings, Leonard Tripp (Brenda), Josanne Logsdon (Joe) and Michael Tripp (Kathy); and her nieces and nephews, Nicole Bourg, Brandon Tripp (Nicole), Ashley Lisena (Travis), Morey Tripp, Michael L. Tripp (Tara), Fiona, Dawson Bourg, Carly Tripp and Brooke Henderson. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to American Cancer Society in her honor.
